We got into security because repairs kept leading back to it
TechAppFix started out fixing computers and phones. TechAppFix Protection is the security plan we kept recommending to customers, now built into one product.
How this started
For years, our repair team saw the same pattern: a device would come in for one problem — a slow laptop, a phone acting strange — and a scan would turn up malware, exposed passwords, or old software nobody had ever bothered to protect. Fixing the original problem without addressing that never sat right with us.
So we started recommending the same handful of tools to nearly every customer. Eventually we stopped recommending them separately and built TechAppFix Protection instead: the antivirus, VPN, and monitoring we'd already been telling people to install, packaged into one plan we stand behind.
What we believe
Security software has a reputation for being confusing on purpose — vague scare tactics, unclear pricing, features nobody asked for. We built this the way we've always run TechAppFix: explain what a thing does before asking someone to pay for it, keep pricing and cancellation simple, and skip the upsells.
How we work
Our support team is the same one that's been answering repair questions for years. If something about your protection plan doesn't make sense, you'll reach a person who can explain it — not a script.
Where we're based
TechAppFix is headquartered in Santa Venera, Malta, with a support team that works across time zones to keep response times reasonable no matter where you're writing in from.
